stars are proof that god loves music. i have never heard pop that sounds so sweet. i've heard that of montreal, death from above 1979, and the new beck album are pretty good, but i haven't had time to listen to them yet. spoon's new album isn't technically out yet, but its pretty good too.

frankly, both of the new bright eyes album were kind of disappointing and overhyped.

they're recording their new album in massachutsetts. plans, their first major label debut on atlantic records, should be out in september. read about it here.

besides for death cab, i've been listening to massive doses of light yourself on fire by the stars and random trip-hop/electronica.
